Tenax International S.p.A. (“Tenax”)
One of the leading European manufacturers of 100% electric street cleaning and urban hygiene machines, expands its offer through the acquisition of activities, human resources and distinctive technologies of Esagono Energia s.r.l. (“Esagono”) in the field of electric vehicles for multiple application sectors (last mile logistics, passenger transport, public utilities and urban hygiene services) and approved “N1-Trucks”.
The Operation
Implemented from early September 2024 through a NewCo expressly constituted by Tenax, represents an additional piece that reinforces, in full coherence with its business plan, the commitment to energy sustainability and environmental protection. The union of planning skills, the greater optimization of production and logistic processes, also made possible by the Esagono hub, located in Pozzuolo Martesana not far from Linate airport and major motorway interchanges, and the increased commercial and customer service presence, also represent an important opportunity for value creation, both in terms of economics and the synergic development of new solutions in the electric vehicle sector.
Vincenzo Guareschi Geddes da Filicaia, President and CEO of Tenax
“Operation Esagono confirms the vocation and role of Tenax as a strategic partner for 100% electric vehicles and the green transition: through a strategy that leverages a broad portfolio of distinctive products and services, and, thanks to our decades of experience with numerous certifications in the fields of environment and energy, we are increasingly working alongside companies, institutions, in Italy and around the world, in achieving their ESG objectives, thus generating not only environmental, economic and social benefits. And, proudly concluding: … a focus on the present looking to the future with innovative solutions for the regeneration of resources and the containment of emissions”.
